Mylan B.V. 

Since the 2^nd of October 2007, Mylan B.V. belongs to Mylan Inc. in the USA, the third largest generic pharmaceutical company in the world.
Mylan markets both generic medicines and value added pharmaceuticals; these are medicines containing active substances that have lost their patent protection and  medicines with a unique distinguishing feature.

The generic medicines of Mylan B.V. have been on the market since 1980. In 1999 Mylan B.V. launched its own portfolio in the Netherlands under the label ‘Merck Generics’. From 2008 on, the products will be launched under the label 'Mylan'.
We make use of the advantages of belonging to an international organisation on the area of development, production and applying high quality standards and expand our product portfolio continually.
By doing so, we succeeded to enter the top 5 of Dutch generic companies, despite the fact that we are a relatively young company.
